2.3 Workmanship. The goggles shall not have any defects that may affect appearance, serviceability or durability. The lens shall be optically correct and without flaws that will interfere with the wearer’s vision.
2.4 Metric products. Products manufactured to Metric dimensions will be considered on an equal basis with those manufactured using inch-pound units, providing they fall within tolerances specified and all other requirements of this document are met.
3. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Regulatory requirements. The offeror/contractor is encouraged to use recovered materials to the maximum extent practicable, in accordance with paragraph 23.403 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
4. QUALITY ASSURANCE PROVISIONS
4.1 Product conformance. The products provided shall meet the salient characteristics of this CID, shall conform to the producer’s own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and shall be the same product offered for sale in the commercial market. The government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance.
5. PACKAGING, PACKING, AND MARKING
5.1 Packaging, packing and marking. The packaging, packing, and marking shall be as specified in the contract or order.
