4.2.2 Sampling.
4.2.2.1 For examination. A random sample of helmets, handshields, or
plates, as applicable, shall be selected from each lot in accordance with
MIL-STD-105, inspection level II.
4.2.2.2 For test. A random sample of helmets, handshields, or plates, as
applicable, shall be selected from each lot for testing in accordance with
MIL-STD-105, inspection level S-40
4.2.3 Inspection procedure.
4.2.3.1 For examination. Each of the sample helmets, handshields, or plates
selected in accordance with 4.2.2.1, and the packaging thereof shall be exa-
mined in accordance with MIL-STD-105 and the following classification of
defects:
(a) Helmets, handshield, and plates.
